| Description: | Crystal IS has developed a new semiconductor substrate (Aluminum Nitride) and epi process that can be used to create deep Ultraviolet Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). Crystal IS seeks to hire a full time process technician capable of ensuring continued supply of these substrates to our internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be a team contributor with good attention to detail and posses a strong work ethic. |
| Duties: | • Processing of wafers following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and established quality documents. • Operation of process equipment such as wire saws, lapping and polishing machines, and metrology tools. • Inspection of incoming and finished substrate wafers for quality control. • Ensure that all relevant process related information is collected and stored. |
| Qualifications: | • Associate Degree desired, but may be substituted by appropriate work experience. • Hands-on experience in industrial production of research work environment. • High mechanical aptitude. • Comfortable working with chemicals (acids/bases/gas cylinders, etc). • Basic math and computer skills (familiarity with MS Office suite). • Attention to detail with good written and verbal communication. • Strong work ethic with positive attitude. |
